Greetings Brothers
I am writing my last Message of the East and sorry to see the Masonic year end. What a great year we had with the creation of our New Web Site (www.MtHorebLodge.org), the C.H.I.P. program at the Dennis Police Station, a fabulous outing where we cruised for the Rededication of the Pilgrim Monument, two Square & Compasses Days, 5 new candidates this year, great speakers for Veterans night where all our Veteran heros showed up, the dedication of the new Dennis Police Building, our Thanksgiving turkey baskets for the needy, our Toys for Tots program and who can forget our wonderful Christmas Party at Morrells Restaurant. We had a successful Lobster Roll Sale that brought our Junior Warden's fund out of the red and into the black. We had our St. Patricks Day parade and the successful completion from start to finish of the new kitchen reconstruction all during my short time here as Master of the Lodge.
But wait the year is not over there are still one or two events I can squeeze in before leaving, including the Annual June 4th lodge meeting with such a feast that your eyes will pop.
The only part of this job that I didn't like was saying farewell to so many brothers that left this earth too soon. So come out to the June 4th annual meeting shake my hand and say hello to the new upcoming Master of the Lodge ...Herb Bell!
